WAITLIST FOR NEW CLIENTS
Ages 18+
Virtual and In-Person
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like yourself lately—you’re not alone. Life is full of twists and challenges, and sometimes we all need support navigating it. Therapy can help you find clarity, relief, and a stronger connection to yourself—and you don’t have to do it alone.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of experience helping adults process trauma, move through major life transitions, and reconnect with their own inner strength. My style is warm, real, and grounded. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative conversation, not a clinical exam.
You're the expert on you. My job is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on, discover what you want to change, and feel more like yourself again.
I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective and draw from a range of approaches, including:
I tailor sessions to your needs—whether you’re navigating stress, grief, burnout, anxiety, relationship issues, or trauma. I also have experience working with healthcare professionals, first responders, military personnel, and other high-stress professions.
ART is one of the main tools I use in my trauma work. It’s an evidence-based therapy that uses eye movements and image rescripting to help your brain release distressing memories, emotions, and body sensations—without having to talk through every detail of what happened.
It’s particularly helpful if you're dealing with:
Many clients feel real relief in just a few sessions—and are often surprised by how empowering the process feels.
Therapy with me is casual, honest, and always guided by your goals. Some sessions might go deep, and others might include moments of humor or lightness. Both have value.
I love getting to know each person I work with—every story is different, and it’s a privilege to be part of the process as you find clarity, relief, and maybe even a bit more peace than when you started.
When I’m not in session, I’m usually out on my bike, spending time with my husband and teenage kids, or being bossed around by our overly friendly dog who barks at pretty much everything that moves. I try to live life with the same values I bring to therapy—honesty, connection, movement, and room for joy.
If you’re curious about working together or want to learn more about ART or other therapy options, I’d love to hear from you. There’s no pressure to commit—just a chance to connect and see if this feels like the right fit.

Life at times can be overwhelming and come with many challenges, having been in the social work field for 20-plus years, I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds who are experiencing a variety of difficulties. As a therapist, I incorporate a collaborative therapeutic approach that treats the whole person; mind, body, and spirit. I help clients reduce and resolve issues in a thoughtful, encouraging, and supportive way.
Since I was young, I’ve always been drawn to helping others and hearing their stories. I share a special connection with my clients while exploring their lived experiences. You can expect open, honest, and practical feedback in an understanding, reassuring, and adaptable environment. We will explore challenges, make positive change, and foster healing. I use an eclectic approach to person-centered/strengths-based therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychodynamic theory. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is a helpful way to reprocess distressing situations, images, and events through a series of eye movements. I also have advanced training in perinatal mood disorders and body image/eating disorders.
My main areas of interest with enhanced expertise include women’s health and life transitions, healthcare provider mental health, perinatal/postpartum mental health, chronic disease/Type 1 diabetes, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and grief and loss.
Outside of my work, I enjoy time with my family and friends, walking my two dogs (Frankie and Apollo), going to comedy shows, reading, catching up on Netflix series and doing endless yard work.
